New York State recently announced the majority of Erie County is designated an Orange Zone and many non-essential businesses are now closed and strict capacity restrictions are now in place. As a result, DSC will pause all indoor programming until the area returns to a safer Yellow Zone designation. We are hopeful this is a short pause in programming, so that we may pick up right where we left off.
Since July 6, DSC has safely been running numerous programs, including Travel practices, House League practices/games, Adult Leagues, and camps and clinics.
We will continue to monitor all recommendations and guidelines of the CDC and Erie County Health Department and maintain the safety of our players and their families as our top priority.
We strongly urge everyone to review the CDC’s Steps to Prevent Illness, including hand washing, covering your cough or sneeze, cleaning objects and surfaces regularly, and to stay home if you are sick to avoid spreading any cold or virus. These everyday preventive actions are critical to the safety and well being of all our DSC families and our entire community.
